The glass and the lens are in excellent condition*; however, I had the brilliant idea to carve a slot at the bottom of the sun-shade so I could rotate a polarizing filter without removing the sun-shade. Another dumb idea! The slot is taped and everything is fine.
*Several have discovered the Tamron 70-300 is not as sharp at 300mm, as have I. However, on a Nikon D7100, which does not have the anti-alias filter, at 300mm it is much better; and I have sold a number of photos up to 13x19 taken at 300mm on this lens. I dont know if thats true for all Tamron 70-300 and Nikon D7100, but it has been proven to be so for my combination.
Lenses include front and rear lens caps, sun shade a good deal at $115.00
