Now you are ringing my chimes. Nothing quite as nice as worn galvanised bolt rendered in B&W. The curves work nicely to bring your eyes back to the bolt heads and the gap between them with just enough DOF to keep the interest at the front. My only suggestion would be to drop the bright area at the back right down a bit as it is grabbing my eye. But apart from that I like it. Makes me want to get back to industrial stuff.

Looking at the download, I can't help but wish that there was more depth of field. I'm seeing tack sharp on those bolts and then it immediately fades into oof. I might try a reshoot with more dof or maybe even focus stacking if you have the patience for that kind of thing.

The weather is turning to rain, but it's not too far away so I'll return soon and shoot it through all the steps just to see. It'll be fun. Thank you! S-
