A while back, I posted 'The Yellow Bike'. Obviously, an outdoor decor trend . I will be on the lookout for more of these bikes now that I've found a couple.

They do seem to be a decor item. I have a shot of a red bike and a white one too. Maybe we should start a thread just on bikes of various colors.

Great article , Oddjobber. I had no idea. These ghost bikes are really significant in making drivers aware of bike cyclists (allowing that the cyclists are riding safe and observing the rules of the road. )

Very interesting. I'd never heard of it before. I'm not so sure the one I shot was a ghost bike. There was no sign, placard, flowers or other notification and it wasn't locked down. It just seemed to be a decor item. Thanks for posting though, I found it extremely interesting.

As noted the White Bike is a Memorial to where a Biker rode his or her last ride.
Being an Old Biker, I ran across one such memorial and have attached a photo. I still photograph local Bicycle events.
