Excellent shot. Starlings look good when shot with a Pentax--they even look better when shot with a 12 gauge. :-D :-D
I've never seen a pretty starling before. Ours were all black, I think. That's how I learned to shoot my dad's 22!

I thank you all for stopping to have a look and leaving your comments. Like some of you, I have also sighted down the barrel at some of these. A 12 gauge seems a bit extreme though, but considering the temperament of these birds, a fitting end. AzPicLady, these are in winter plumage now, so they are not the usual plain black. They are kind of pretty with this speckled look, but they still behave the same as always,,, like Starlings.
