My wife has the Canon OES-M. She went thru two fully charged batteries while opening christmas presents, less than an hour. It also pooped out during a band concert.
My daughter has one too, same thing with battery drain.
Just something to think about.

That's strange. I had one a couple years ago, and had no such issues with my EOS-M. Were these both the first versions, or the EOS-2 or EOS-3..the more current versions?

I dont know.
On the top it has EOS M.
On the front bottom right as you look at it is has EOS.
She does like to use the adaptor so she can use my lenses, and play with my studio lighting using a pocket wizard. :)
