I hadn't seen this before. Yes, I do have a slight case of OCPD. It comes and goes. I also have a slight case of OCPPD (Obsessive Compulsive Post Processing Disorder). The more programs I have available for post-processing, the better I like it. I always look for photo opportunities when I am driving down the road. I think about photography a lot. That might be because I am not a real professional at photography and I am constantly thinking of what I can do to improve. I spend a lot of time on the UHH looking for new ideas and techniques. Thanks for posting the link. Have a GREAT DAY!

Be sure to share your stories, good or bad, funny or sad, that we may all see ourselves in them! S-

Stories.... OK You want "stories"....

Copies from the same Blog where the O.C.P.D. Came from...

About the Japanese (perhaps Chinese however there is a big difference = and I can tell the difference) – I had this occur in Yellowstone a few years ago.
I set up with about 2 feet of space between my tripod center and the guard-rail…. Yep! You guessed it. I just looked at him and looked to my right and left and saw that the other people were just shacking their heads and smiling at me. I just let my head drop. That action caused laughter.
So…. Since that experience I have made certain that one leg of the tripod is Through The Fence and not permitting assholes from passing in forward view ( Chinese or not ).

And another thing…… In Yosemite, at Tunnel View…. Showing up at a public over-look with a large tripod and a 1942 Ansco 8X10 with film-holders can be a bit of fun. Photography with large format equipment is S L O W and requires time to setup, take the readings with a spot-meter, do a little calculations, write things down in your exposure Day-Book, focus on the ground glass Under the Black Cloth, slide in the film holder, remove the protective slide, and finely open the shutter and replace the slide.
And while this is occupying your time – you come out from under the black cloth only to find that YOU, little you, have drawn a crowd of 4 to 8 people wanting to know – What camera is THAT? Will it Still take pictures? Why don’t you just take a “snap-shot”? and my favorite — What are you doing? (My smart-ass answer is something like = "I am trying to find a shorter route to India."
Perhaps I should charge for instruction in Large Format Photography while I have a group assembled? Sometimes it is embarrassing.

You do not suffer from the syndrome, unless of course you already have that Linhoff 8X10. And then you must have the digital hassy, and a coupla 4X5 pentax.
