I just marvel when see these little guys climb the steep banks. If you look at it proportionally that would be like us climbing up a steep 50'-60' bank. Wow.
I know these are not great photo examples. They were shot with a 500mm lense at quite a distance across the water and then cropped pretty heavily...then re-cropped again to get the individual climbers.
#1 Cropped tight
#1 Cropped even tighter
#2 Cropped tight
#2 Cropped even tighter
#3 Cropped tight
#3 Even tighter again
And magically they turn into this
lovely shots, the last one is a gem.
W-O-W to the last shot!!! wall hanger or mag cover
Loved the real tight crops. I thought I was looking at Canada Geese goslings and when I got to the last photo in the series I saw I was correct. Very nice series of pictures.
Yes - VERY NICE shots with the last one definitely being a framer and hung on the wall. Have it enlarged to a 16x20 or 18x24 even.
Very happy to have the opportunity to view this scene that you've given us. Beautiful end result!
Very nice. Excellent pictures. What cutties.
