I see all kinds of comments about how awful win10 is and can't help but think it is mostly self inflicted. Well I have found a way to get ALL of the changeable settings on one page and doesn't require you to "figure out" where you need to go make the changes you want to make in this OS.
So here you go....
To enter God Mode, right click on the desktop, go to New and then click on Folder from the list.
Rename the folder with this text.
My Own Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
The text before the period ( . ) sign can be changed as you prefer. After renaming the folder, you will see a new icon with the name you specified. Double-clicking that file will lead you to all the available settings.
I really hope this helps a few of you that are so upset.
Best Regards,
GP
My problem with W10 is 8 year old computers that W10 has problems with. I reinstalled W7 and it has problems with the older equipment as well.

I learned of the God Mode folder of instructions while running Windows 7. Definitely has a lot of handy instructions, which of course, can be customized to get rid of those you don't care about. I built a new one right after installing W10. Thanks for reminding folks who may not have ever seen it or forgot to build a new one.
There is also a great free application called DoNotSpy that works very well.
Sort of a SuperControlPanel with a File Explorer.
Thanks. I had used this in previous versions/PCs but had forgotten about it.

Followed your instructions to the letter, exactly as you have it above and all I get when I double click on the icon is empty folder. Did I miss something here?
