Here's a few from today.

One sad note...that pelican looks like it has a fish hook stuck in it's foot with some line attached. I really hate seeing this.

These are great, as usual. Hopefully, being that you are around salt water, the hook will rust off pretty soon.

You take amazing photos, the tri-colored heron should be on the cover of National Geographic. 8-)

Knock-out photos. Thank you for your patience - always required when photographing wildlife - and also for your tecnical mastery. The great egret looks like an angel in the form of a bird.

Super shots.I t's a shame when a bird gets a hook in it especially when its barbed.A lot of the fisheries in the uk now have a policy of using barbless hooks which are more friendly to the fish and other wildlife. So come on anglers use barbless.

Wow, what a good day. Poor Pelican, I hate seeing that too. Your Egret looks like a ballerina, beautiful! Hope the bugs didn't carry you away. . . Jen

Fantastic as usual. Hate to see the hooks and line, they should know to never cut the line, always try to bring the bird in and cover with a shirt or blanket and try to get the hook out, or take it for help. Our conservancy hospital is constantly removing hooks.

Fantastic pictures Gator, only people who have tried taking pictures of the white Egret will really understand how great that picture is. Did you have someone along tossing small fish to the Heron so you could get that picture, or are you holding the camera in one hand and doing it yourself?
