I really like that picture! What a shot of life! The composition with the man all the way left to the edge facing away from everything, almost out of the picture, and with that disinterested but watchful look on his face, while the center exhibit is the high contrast wall of signs advertising his life to each passerby (as well as to a photographer and all viewers of the photography). And BW is perfect.

The half of the image that you have shared is wonderful. Great shot of a car aircon specialist who needs to drum up more business. I would like to see the other half of the image .. what does he see as he looks on. The photo seems chopped off.

Yes, it's an interesting photo: composition makes you think and there is a story in the image. Makes me want to come back and look at the photo again.

Sandra thank you for dropping by. You should know by now I only include in a frame what I feel should be there. This was shot portrait mode so a tiny trim took place to eliminate a poster behind our guy. This was shot in Paraneque Manila. That's short for car park. When he starts work he looks at two lanes made into four of congested smoke belching traffic. No interest on my part to show a few beat up Toyota's and Nissan's with the odd Hummer or similar all creeping along with the occupants behind black glass breathing in noxious fumes thru the obligatory air con. When he locks up at night he sees exactly the same.
My subject is the guy and his sign. Not the street in front of him or the workshop behind him.
I generally try to frame in camera and what you get is what I want to show. Not everyone will agree its right but one of the pleasures of taking snaps is its something where I do not have to please others.

Trust all is well in inhospitable land you live in.
