The lens was a Nikkor 18-70 kit lens, actually the only lens that can be used on that camera now, due to the camera being calibrated to it for the focus shift for infrared.

I love Infrared. Had a Nikon d70 converted to 720. Now I have a D300 converted to 720nm.

Will take that as a "Tacit- OK to post." Used to to I-R with 60s-vintage NikonF/film. Self-processed in made-to darkroom. Will hunt some up from prints/negs. Maybe post.
IR gives GOOD images (can't see-it)
My Facebook friends (<100) agree your "Near St. Louis I-R image" is.. most enjoyed. They're -for the best part- musicians- of sight and sound.
