Evolution - Piltdown Man

The Piltdown-Man-H**x is an interesting story. Some disgruntled and "rabid" Creationists would have you believe it was perpetrated by a bunch of "fraudulent scientists: http://nwcreation.net/evolutionfraud.html

Instead, it was perpetrated by a single individual, Martin A.C. Hinton, a volunteer at the British Museum in 1912, and his h**x fooled others for years.

And guess who set the story straight? NOT CREATIONISTS, for sure, but an international congress of scientists-specialists (paleontologists), who investigated the h**x in detail in 1953.

Beware of myths perpetrated by angry/militant Creationists with serious inferiority complexes. Their intent is to darken science and the theory of evolution, using intentionally misleading information, in the hope of promoting Creationism in their place.

Evolution is silly. Pure chance (Evolution) could not possibly account for all life today, produced within the span of only 20 billion years. Try a millinillion years, then get back to me.

Quote:
The "law" in question does not exist as a mathematical theorem, nor is there a universally decided upon "minimum probability" among the physical sciences community. Rather, Borel's Law originated in a discussion in a book written by Emil Borel for non-scientists. Borel shows examples of the kind of logic that any scientist might use to generate estimates of the minimum probability below which events of a particular type are considered negligible. It is important to stress that each of these estimates are created for specific physical problems, not as a universal law.

Borel's Law was designed for SENSIBLE people. Your computer exercise, with one MILLION calculations per SECOND, would require OVER 400 SEXTILLION YEARS to complete. How old is the universe?

Science projects 13.7 billion years for the Universe, 4.5 billion years for the solar system, figures that are well supported by data/scientific evidence, not myth.

Creationists, on the other hand, claim everything was divinely created some 5,700 to 10,000 years ago, yes for everything, can you imagine that, and in no way support it at all with any verifiable/credible evidence.

Science is based on theories and data/evidence. Superstition is based on belief without evidence, and that is why it is called belief. Just stating something to be true without verifiable evidence does not make it valid/true.
________
The Piltdown-Man-H**x was exposed by scientists not Creationists.
