What I love about this hobby-
GAS- getting new stuff is always fun!
Playing- The mechanics of all of this is fun for me; camera gear, the computer and framed photos.
Learning- The internet is an incredible gift in this regard.
Shooting- For me it is the same as fishing and golf ; even if you get the big one or the holein-one, you cant wait to get out there to get the next one.
Displaying- If you really like what you shot it can stir something inside.
Awareness- Being involved with groups and forums makes you so much more aware of art, nature, science, and diversity.

Very well stated, but you forgot to mention how it attracts the babes!
Indeed though I'm still waiting for the babes. ;)
Well said, Par4fore! And I have to add, being in New Hampshire during political campaign season, getting a press credential and having unfettered access to shoot events is pretty cool, too :)

Is a hunting license required to cover N.H. during the political circus? "People-Watching" must be in full swing during the whole thing. You are actually kind of lucky, it will all be over (in your state) soon. Hang in there, relief is just a few weeks, or a few days away. Keep on smiling, and shooting. GL
