On the way to work.

I always love to see this tree on the way to work. The early Sun always makes it look pretty. Today these guys were in it roosting for the night. Not real good shots, traffic was bad. Had to be fast shots. :(

I pulled off in a field, but the cars were slowing down to see what I was taking a picture of. That time of day is always bad. But I got there early today and they were back, but in a different tree. I will post them at lunch time. Got to get working. Going to be a long friday here.:(

I'd love to see some more of the vultures - they're really interesting. I'm a new 'hog' and probably have no right to critique anyone's work at this stage, but (on my screen) your focus was on the tree limbs and not on the eye of the bird. The tree is lovely too. What type is it?

Hi Fernsong. IIt is a Sycamore tree. I have been watching this tree all winter. Sometimes when the sun hits it the limbs are beautiful. So far I have not gotten the picture I want yet. The Buzzards just started showing up in the last few days. I guess they roost there for the night. I will post more pictures here today. They are in a different tree now. I take these on my way to work, so the lighting is awful and the traffic is too. :)

Just a few more Buzzards. They are in a different tree now. Even farther away. I am pushing this lens to get these, :-D

Well captured, Erv! What an ugly bird to look at (not like the buzzards here in France!) but they look oh-so-graceful in the air!

Would love to see your Buzzards! How are they different? We live in Medina, but they seem to like a town just east of us. It is called Hinkley, Ohio. They come back every year in large numbers. And in the fall the same thing, gather to leave.. If you Goggle Hinkley Buzzards I think you can read about them.
Erv

I found this link. There are a lot of them to search. :-D
