Anyone using a Nikon SB-910 AF Speedlight Flash? What are your thoughts before I make a decision to purchase this one or the SB-900...or, or

Thanks,
Doug

The 910 was introduced as a solution to the overheating problems experienced with the 900 model.

MT...This is a big flash. Does it automatically choose the right amount of light for the situation, no matter what?

It is part of Nikons CLS yes. It will ttl fill flash automatically when used in any shooting mode.

Great...I'm thinking of getting one, or eventually two, to serve as lighting for portraits. I might see what I can turn out with that 800 when it comes in.

I replace my sb800 with one and it is much easier to program, and the flash is stronger.

I don't have the 910 but I do have two 900's. Easy to use and have no problems with them over heating.
