Some of the best seem to be on the Adobe website.

Tony Northrup has a great Kindle book for $10 that includes over 20 hours of private youtube video tutorials. I thought I knew Lightroom until I went through his Lightroom 5 book which is now updated to include Lightroom 6 CC. Get it at Amamzon or Google it and buy it from his site. Good luck.

Also try:

www.lynda.com - not free

http://laurashoe.com/ - free

and Jeff Shewe's great little book on Amaon as either paper or kindle formats (I recommend the paper version so images are associated with text):

The books by Martin Evening are very good. I recommend them.
The videos on you tube are also very good.

In essence, the LR user interface has changed little since V3. Much of the improvements have been made to the processing engine, camera and lens support and previewer. There are a handful of commands, like circular gradient, dehaze, and some lens corrections that are a bit easier to use. Also the range of adjustment of most image controls has been vastly improved.

So, the old tutorials and videos are mostly valid and very helpful.

Adobe TV is a favorite, with Julieanne Kost and Russell Brown - are both excellent teachers, as are many of the others - and these are totally free.

If you want a faster approach, or have something specific you are after, consider a mentor - either in a local photo club or engage someone on a forum - expect to pay a nominal fee, but you will get your money's worth. I just helped out a fellow hogger in Mississippi (I am in NY), with some heavy-duty file management and cleanup of his Lightroom folders and files - he is on a MacBook Pro and I am on a PC. I use Teamviewer software to take control of his desktop, and the phone to explain what I am doing. He retains control as well - so if I show him a procedure he can immediately repeat it doing it himself, with me looking over his shoulder - virtually, of course. He was quite pleased with the focus and student-centered approach - and this is after spending $$ and countless hours on books, tutorials, videos and time on the Internet.
