The first two, sadly, will be understood maybe only by the northerners. I'll explain. In Mexico they have Cerveza Trees and they produce beer and the process is similar to the way we produce maple syrup except that they do not need to boil anything down and also the ''sap'' runs year round. We have sugar maples, but they have groves of different species, for instance this is a Dos Equis grove.
I tried to sell my Basura Margareta to the resort but they told me that it was too trashy. There is no patent on this drink so I would not be surprised to see it on the menu there next spring. I'm sure the Spring Break gang will adore it

Looks like you had a great time. Dos Equis is my favorite variety of all the cerveza trees.
Lucky for you those animals were coatimundis and not chupacabras.
I sent this in with a job rec for the young woman as an example of how she responds to stress and adversity. She got the job.
Great pics so far - not sure bout funny for me 2day - will have to see about that. :D (I say that -cause I've never caught a good enuff picture of a hawk being silly) ;)

Good for you to send in that shot. She looks relaxed and happy. The guy behind her, on the other hand, has the same expression I think I usually had in my sailing days.
Not sure if I can come up with a funny or not, but meanwhile, enjoying all the others.
p1
PG - loved each one. #1 and the log water ride are especially favs.
JacLee - so sorry. SO glad we can entertain you! You are a heroine in my book - still functioning, using a computer, and take fantastic photos. Can I be like you when I grow up?
Modest - just loved "Mama Mia"
RR - he's BAAAACCCK! Cerveza trees - most interesting. DO they plant them in or next to the Tequila plants? Glad you had a grand time
Rnan, - that is too funny - your guide followed by the perfect timing and position of the statue's mustache!

p2 Great one, Ken - again. She looks like someone who would be great to work with. Her partner surely looks intense. I bet you are an outstanding coach.

Hey there Jaclee,
Maybe you could shoot what is outside your window..........or dioramas or macro. Best thing you already shot was your television! Good Luck.

As you may recall last saturday I conducted my volunteer duties at the Preserve. I had a wonderful chaufer and guide and by the end of the day he was pretty tired of me taking his pics.
At the concluding lunch for the volunteers I was trying to get just one more...and this was his lovely pose for me.
oh and remember the big head coming out of the water yesterday...she grew a mustach right in front of me.
LOL @ the fish mustache .. pg 1
A little history first. My grandson is 1/2 hispanic, 14 years old and loves soccer, also plays with grown ups. A few weeks ago planned for my daughter to bring him up to Salt Lake. When they picked me up we were a few blocks from the REAL SALT LAKE soccer field so I suggested we go by and see that stadium, they are his favorite team. We stopped and there was a game about to start. I suggested we get out and get a picture of him in front of the stadium. POOR boy was crying because he wanted to go to a game so badly. Then I had his mom show him something, I had bought tickets to the game. WHAT A CHANGE. Fastest change from crying to smiling I've ever seen in anyone. We had a blast at the game. and he got his picture taken with two of the players after the game.
One sad grandson
Surprise, got tickets
Self explanitory
Now all his friends are wanting to go, their parents are upset with me!
