Judging by the black smoke streak on the side, the engine/s need a good tune up.
more unique than the launch is it has no steering wheel just a joy stick. We got the first one commissioned at Sandy Hook NJ quite a few years ago. It is also built in Louisiana

Could be, but I have never seen exhaust on the side of a boat.

Doesn't appear to have exhausts at stern.
Usually wet exhausts in marine applications, it would make this a bit cleaner I suspect??
