Very nice cruise liners. We went on the Carnival Princess in 2001. Enjoyed it very much. Would like to go on the Alaska cruise ship next, I won't hold my breathe though. LOL Thanks for sharing all the ships pictures.

Here is a picture of the SS Denali that Took me to Alaska for the first time... Left Seattle and debarked at Ketchikan two days later... Lovely ship, good state rooms and great crew... June of '51 it was....

We were on the Norwegian Sun in the Caribbean last month.
Very cool!
Oasis of The Seas- A huge ship, it dwarfs the freighter to the right. This shot was taken from very high up during a visit to St. Thomas Virgin Islands.

Thanks for posting the picture. It is interesting to see how the cruise liners evolved over the time period. You were ten years ahead of me getting to Alaska, I worked in the Yukon in 54 did gold placer mining and entered Alaska the first time in 60. I fell in love with it and must have visited it about 20 times since on land and water.
Glad to have another old timer around. Have a nice day.
The SSDenali wasn't a total cruise ship.. It was a combo freighter/passanger ship primarly freighter, but for the day it was very comfortable crusing... Somewhere I still have the dinner menu off the ship... I'll try and find it...
