with the football season winding down, I won't miss the two hours of pre game shows. it's just an opportunity for so called sport experts to preen before the cameras and the networks to make a mint in commercials. I remember the 50's in Cleveland when the broadcast began at 2 pm and the kickoff at 2:10 pm.

I agree--ten minutes of pregame is enough. The talking heads are just space fillers.

on super sunday it'll be 4 to 6 hrs. on network and satalite tv.

I agree that they all are too long. But those retired athletes need something to do. But you can do what I do: choose not to watch any of them.

Yes. And they showed the cheerleaders for a minute or more at a time. Now, unless your glued to the screen, you won't hardly catch a glimpse of them. :thumbdown:

i watch football games with the sound muted....don't like the talking heads....
