Are you going to sell the old one. That is a really silly question.
Cameras are kind of like guns. Out of the 11 cameras I have purchased I still own 10 or them. All 10 are still fully functional. One was stolen along with my Suburban.
I regularly use three of them regularly.
I can justify at least one more and several more lenses.
The others are ready in case of an emergency. :-}
How many camera bodies does one need "ready in case of emergency"?
In my experience, at least four--but more than four is better.

Thanks,now I feel deficient with only three....
I forgot to mention.
All but three of mine or obsolete digital cameras , 35mm film, 120 film or Polaroid land camers. They all work.
That is why I can justify one more. :-}

I have never sold a camera that I liked. I have a nice Kodak collection.
I also have three cameras that I use regularly - Olympus E-PL5 for serious stuff, Kodak S-1 for the collection and the colors, and Panasonic GM1 for pocketability. So far, my wife hasn't found a camera that she likes and doesn't use a cellphone either.
