A few birds with my Nikon P610

Weather is still yucky, but went out today anyway to continue the duel between the Nikon P610 and the Panasonic fz200. The comparison is over and the Nikon won. Monday the fz200 gets returned.

The white pelicans were across the marsh so needed the zoom for them. The GBH was right beside me, hidden in the reeds.

Thank you for viewing.

Excellent captures...very sharp zoomed in with good color and contrast. Think you have a winner with the P610. What shooting mode were you using?

Thank you, jederuck! I used aperture and also bird scene mode. Used high speed burst in both.

Thank you, Joe. I believe I did! I am enjoying this camera. And I am getting a really good keeper rate. Can't wait to see how it does with more light.

I appreciate that you took the time to look and comment.

Thank you, Lenf. I have only had it a couple of weeks. But so far it seems to be just fine for me. I am still trying different settings. But it is a great replacement for my sx50.
