Welcome aboard from Columbus, Ohio... Home of Columbus Camera Group.

CCG used to be in an old white church near the campus as I recall. I used to go there quite often on trips between Cincinnati and Cleveland.

This was in the film era. They used to have long tables with boxes under them, loaded with USED film camera gear. I bought my first Graflex Press 4x5 camera and two Medium Format cameras there in the early 90's.

They are still in biz, but I don't know if they are still in the old church. Great organization... there are a couple of very good camera stores in Columbus ... CCG being one.

Welcome aboard. Let me know if you drive by CCG and they are still in the old church. Used to be like Christmas Morning to go in there and spend a couple of hour Praying to find (church?) wonderful new toys. I live near the Left Ocean now.

OOOOH! OOOOH! I just looked and they are still in the old church!!!

Their site:

See the Church.

My referral is 25 years old, but they used to the the good guys in Columbus. They have a bunch of nice toys for your Nikon. They also still sell film equipment... My kind of place.

Love Columbus. Spent time at DCSC, when in the army. Also like Jack Hana Columbus Zoo. Welcome. Lastly I have a D7100 & learned from a DVD by Micheal The Maven called D7100 Crash Course. Available on EBAY. About three hours of everything to know. It is wonderful & showed me everything to know from A-Z.

TMarie ... Welcome.
That sure doesn't look like a D7100 you're holding.
Is your waterfall above in the Columbus area?
Go Bucks!

Welcome Marie

I lived in Columbus for 55 years. Now in North Carolina.
Do you know if the CORD Camera store is still open near OSU Campus? It is a great store for photographers.

Love the waterfall pic

Best of luck with the new D7100

Go Bucks!
