Anytime you are near the water in Florida you need to be aware of the gators. For the most part they do not bother people but they are nothing to fool with either. Here are shots of five different individuals all seen in about a two hour period. There were also others that were not positioned where a photo was possible.

Thank you. I love shooting on the river but it is very difficult from the boat. I plan to get better at it!

Thank you. I suspect these are less aggressive than your crocs! They do attack on occasion but usually when they may have mistaken an arm or leg for a fish or other food. Normally they just hiss and take off if you get close.
