I went out to the Mummers parade today. Accidently I keep switching the lens from auto focus to manual focus. I never before realized how easy it was to change the setting. Here is my question, is any body else having the same problem with this lens. and has anybody found a work around for this problem.

Looks like the "problem" is with your computer and not your lens. Posted this twice and still no info to read.
Put tape on the switch or carry/hold it differently so you don't switch it
Are you setting the lens to A/M, M/A, or M
---
M/A: Autofocus can be overridden by manually focusing with
the focus ring.
A/M: Autofocus can be overridden by manually focusing with
the focus ring, but focus ring detection sensitivity is lower
than in M/A mode.
Use this mode to avoid canceling the
AF setting by unintentionally moving the focus ring.

That is exactly what I had to do. ..until I Sent the lens in for repair and they found the switch was loose. (I was lucky enough the lens was still in warranty )

Have not had this problem but a spot of Gaffers Tape could solve the issue.

The opposite of accidently moving the switch is to deliberately not move it.
