Canon 7D Prime focus with 2" T adaptor only. Celestron C8 8" SCT f/10 ISO 640 One minute three second exposure.
Tweaked a bit in Canon Digital Photo Professional. I shot 33 of these and DSS sees stars in 5 of them.
When I stack it turns grey and I cant pull color out of it even if I over saturate. I will post both here.
Stack details: 33 singles/Lights; 17 Darks; 24 bias; 28 flats

Very nice. But I don't think those are Geosynchronous Satellite trails. They are too long. For a one minute exposure, they should be much shorter. Basically, only the distance the tracking would have covered during that minute. I think you have something in much lower orbit.

The stacked set wouldn't use more than 5 pics. I don't know what the issue was.

Thanks Craig. I was wondering, did you do custom white balance on your camera before shooting or did you just shot as it was and correct later? Just curious. BTW.. shutter count is 3400. Heck you were just starting to break it in.

Hi Jim, I thought it had to be less than 5K.
I just used the Auto WB and adjusted in LR. But I'm told it's better to fine an adjustment that works for you.
By getting everything looking as natural as possible in daylight.

Not when shooting at almost 4000mm. ;)

Easy way to test it. Using the same focal length, but without tracking, shoot the same region of the sky and see how long the star trail are when exposed for the same amount of time.

Killjoy.
It's cloudy and was snowing earlier.
Besides, I still like that shot.
