Makes me nostalgic for the smell of hypo and acetic acid and the wonderful sensation that has been lost to the computer: watching a BW image magically emerge in a tray of Dektol.

Thanks TIA. These were shot in sunlight then converted to B&W. I masked the buildings to their own layer, then overlayed them on a pure black background.

Beautiful effect on the plants and homes. "Lamentations" image reminds me of the line in a hymn " I'll cling to the old rugged cross".

Bob, this is an impressive collection. Phosphorescence is what comes to my mind. As I child I would swirl a stick in dark water and watch the water light up. Your subjects also seem to emit their own light!
