Has anyone have experience with the New Nikon 200-500 lens.
I'm thinking of getting one.

Its a beautiful lens, I have been using, and renting it, for a few months now.

Congratulations! You may be the last of 15-20 people to use that term in a subject title in 2015. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I don't have it but it has been getting rave reviews in two different Nikon user forums I am on. I bought the Big Tammy before having any inkling Nikon was going to come out with that. I am happy with my Big Tammy too, though.
Great lens--especially for the price. Very happy with mine--The VR is the best I've seen.

On a bright day it is fantastic! I love mine. Will need to buy a case for it.
Thanks Jerry,
You always have good research sites.

I have one and I like it. The Bokeah is much creamier than the Tamron 150-600.
Its a good lens ~ Nice sharp pictures.
Attached is a photo of a Wild foal at 500mm
NIkon 200-500. 500 mm cropped
What, only one. What if the lens gets dusty.

Let me put it this way if I had known about the Nikon 200-500mm I would not have got the Tamron 150-600mm.
Although it is a fine lens at it's price point of $400.00 less than the Nikon.
I'm sure the Nikon optics are better.
I like the fixed f/stop at f/5.6 at all focal lengths too.
