Just drove back to USA from West Central Mexico...Passed MANY semi-trucks full of Chrysler & John Deere products....

the ship-building jobs have gone overseas since the protectionist Jones Act in 1920...( a US vessel is 5x more expensive to build than a Japanese vessel)

That's true. When I was asking the question, though, I was thinking of the manufacturing jobs represented by wh**ever was filling up those 18,000 containers.
