Camera for a tourist?

Consider the Panasonic Lumix TS10 or TS2 (the high tech version). Amazon.com has the best prices as I write.

I have a Panasonic ZS5 that is absolutely excellent.It is my all around camera, because it fits easily in a pocket and goes anywhere! As I move up to something with inter-changeable lenses(from a Kodak Z981), I most probably will go with a high end Panasonic because of the ZS5. Focus is lightning fast and the Leica lenses are crystal clear. Good luck in your quest.

Funny thing is this topic. Some zombie threads are at least resurectiin of actual discussions ... but "Im a tourist, and I need a camera ?!??!" Thaz was never even a viable discussion :-(

The best camera for a tourist is a smart phone. If you already have one learn to use it. If you don't an iPhone, galaxy or pixel all have great versions
