Hi Frank. A 0.3 mm round hole in place of a lens will give a fuzzy dream like image like these. It can be a cult thing in some circles but for me it's just another way to get an image. These happen to be film generated but the appropriate pinhole body cap for any DSLR and a bit of trial and error along with suitable subject choice will get results.
