I have enjoyed the discussion by members of Ugly Hedgehog. My name is Jonathan; my passion is the celebration of rhythm presented by observed diverse forms, colors and textures through listening and participation whenever possible.
I am a self-taught photographer interested in the bridges facilitated by travel. My images are not manipulated (such as by photoshop) but each bears the personal value of choice and the humility of appreciation.
Well, who doesn't celebrate rhythm presented by observed diverse forms, colors and textures through listening and participation? Welcome to the UHH!
Welcome aboard. Enjoy your time here, it's a great place to learn and share...
Do you see numbers in colors or taste flavors with certain letters ?? Your words are very artistic so I think the person behind them might be too?? Welcome to the forum. It's a very interesting place to hang out sometimes :) And do post some of your un-manipulated images. I bet we can change your mind about that...given enough time :) :) :)

Welcome to the Hog Jonathan.
Thanks for your reply. The reason for not processing my images is mainly because I do not know how. The primary purpose for capturing each is to express gratitude for pertinent innate value and beauty observed. In stating that my images are "not manipulated" this limits the potential viewer's expectations of technical excellence and simply shares space and time.
Welcome to UHH Jonathan, glad you joined us. Even in film images are processed. The great Ansel Adams was a master at this. More easy to do now in digital age. Try do do some and you will see what I mean. Try some free programs such as Picasa & GIMP then let me know what you think.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.
