I guess the title explains it all.

Any thoughts?

First thoughts were of a skinny Boa Constrictor, as I moved up the frame they turned to hugs of a mothers arm around her nest with young bird.....yes I realize I should have that checked.

You are not as far off as you think. There are many pythons living in this area just behind my house. I had one quietly curled up underneath my bbq a couple of weeks ago, only about a metre and a half long but the birds sure didn't like it there, and neither did I. So I put on my brave Jungle Jim persona and squirted it in the face with the garden hose until it left.

The odd canted grass throws the background into a dither. The poor tree ... gives new meaning to the term 'clinging vine'

I'm afraid the busy background distracts too much for me. I could see some interesting studies of lines and textures, though - especially in different lighting.

Pythons under the porch - wowsa! :)

I like the strangler, we have things like that growing in our older forests. I do wonder if adding some blur to the background on the left immediately beside the strangler would help separate him from the background.
