I spent some time inside today due to the rain, so looked at a few old cars, and liked these hood ornaments.

Thanks, Had to do them hand held, no tripods allowed. It took a few, but I got them.

Hi ferrinmike: Love the hood ornaments, there was a time when the ornament was the symbol of the vehicle, it spoke of the pride of the manufacturer and the owner. They were a status symbol. Great pictures.

YEA, but I don't have any programs that can do that. Maybe someday, I'm a dreamer...

#1 Yes, it's a Moto-Meter but on what. Maybe a Stutz or Packard (1912).
#2 is a 1934 Cadillac.
#3 is a 1912 Lincoln (1934 Ford coupe's had similar)
#4 is 1931 Pierce Arrow (I could be off on the year)

I just did the same thing this past weekend. Our MeetUp group went to an antique car museum so I concentrated on hood ornaments too.

Thanks, I liked the frog. Looks like they let you get closer than I could. Anyone else have any hood ornaments go ahead and post them, I should have said that at the beginning.
