Green Heron

This morning I was whining about not getting a Greenie on Irrigator's thread. Went about my chores for the day mowing, pressure washing, etc. Looking out our bedroom window after my shower what do I see a Greenie on our dock roof... Grabbed the camera slithered out the door and got a shot #1, the critter flew across the canal she was watching her kids fledge #2, #3 and #4.

(I've never heard of a green heron! These look pretty small, too, so it's likely I've seen them and didn't know they were a heron at all lol)
