CHRISTMAS HAS COME AND NO MORE G.A.S.
Back around 1998 or so I told my son we could not fill up a 2gb hard drive in our lifetime, now I have one photo that is 2gb in size. That said, I now cant imagine ever needing a gear upgrade unless for some reason I need to print larger than 24x36 or find career in photography. (not likely, but you never know). For the last three years I have bought and sold a bunch of different equipment trying to find what is right for me.

The gentleman made a mistake for which he has apologised. Go polish your tin sheriff's badge. Happy Christmas and a blameless new year Ron.
You miss the most important thing that we all should carry when hiking/traveling: Survival kit and clean dry underwear as well as a couple of socks.

You have a nice assortment of gear, but it's more about "want," than "need." How long before you'll want to replace that D7000 with something newer? There's nothing wrong with getting new gear.

Do you vary AMONG (not between) MI, NE and FL because all of them ask you to leave after a short time?

Which shows your weakening understanding.
Between means traveling/shuttling between. Among reflects a choice between this or that. But never mind hey? Anything for a laugh. right?
Of course it is on you.
Wow! Stupid question are you carrying all of this at once??
I was lucky enough to buy Nikons/lens etc from the early 80's
and even before what I could afford a Pentax. With gear kept in good condition and a good resource for selling and trading I was able a trade on many of my camera's. Also sold video camera's like the Panasonic HMC-150 recently 6 years old for $1500 a little more then 1/2 it's original cost. Buying good camera's and lens's (not the most expensive) was really easy to trade and sell for years. Traded a lot of my Nikon gear (kept key FF lens) and it payed for 75% of a Sony a7s with the 70-200 G lens etc. This move really changed my approach to traveling light and shooting more. To have a mirrorless wonder that could shoot incredible low light video and great stills with a lens like the Zeiss 55mm 1.8 was a great move for me. And the a7s video is being used on the set as a b camera with 10k video matched. The advent of Sony smaller camcorders (and Panasonic etc) that recorded really great video led to shooting many marathons and triathlon's for clients. I always have a camera with me. In my small carry bag it was the NEX 7 and now the a6000 and the a7s
with a smaller lens. And the RX100 I have 3 of them. my D800 with 24 70 was good but really big and not very portable. In fairness to all the wonderful nature and macro shooters in this forum I understand their approach. Sony has changed the game and is still moving forward at high speed. The model changing circus has degraded somewhat trade and selling price of used on drawback. Good luck
