Point and shoot camera

Here are a few of the shots I took real quick outside yesterday with just a Fugi point and shoot, loved the one ( not professional) looking through the tree, sound that interesting, sometime I think it is who takes the photo and what you capture as opposed to the make of a camera, I also took a few close-up of family at Easter that I liked...
Sure it is the end result and often the camera is almost incidental. There are many great photos that depend on the perspective, time and place. I like your photos. Taking very few people pics, to me the last two are very nice - you did a great job of capturing the emotion of the moment.

THANK YOU , surely no Pro, but have a passion for photography..... ;-)
nice photos. I too use a Fuji camera.
Some of the best pictures are not the ones with a polished, professional touch...the best pictures capture your heart and make you smile.
It's not about the "technical" stuff, it's all about the subject matter and you have captured a pair of natural beauties. Very nice.

Thank you, I love that saying......it is so true, In the eyes of the beholder.
Also love your quote from Mother Theresa (Saint) I adored her.

I like them
All of these photos were taken by a point and shoot. I learned a lot form the first one I bought. It was a 3.2 MP Olympus that I bought used for $75.00 and lasted 5 years of continuous use. it is now a museum item as it gave up the ghost. but the photos it gave were of great quality. I now have a fuji and Olympus Point and shoot.

I've learned... primarily from mentors, acquaintances and friends... alike in this VERY forum... that it's about 10% equipment and 90% photographer.
When I came here in September of last year (yep... hasn't even been a full year! lol), I had a Canon Powershot A-550 point and shoot. When folks found out what I was using, they were IMPRESSED! (And I was flabbergasted!)
And I'll be the first to tell you, a natural passion for photography is probably the most important element in your entire arsenal (aka: camera bag)
Lovely shots!
Keep up the great work!

Ok, now I am totally confused... I have taken so many good photo's just in an amatuer's point of view, with Point and Shoots... I have been researching Canon and Nikon SLR's and along the way adding various lenses to my collection, so far I seem to like the Canon T3i, but hate to think of all I have to learn with the settings etc. wonderding now if I should just get a really good Point and shoot. But over the years I have spent a small fortune on these and if I invest in a SLR that would be it for a very long time. What lens would get an entire room in a photo for me ? From what I hear, it doesn't have to mean wide angle??? Thanks everyone. Love this Group !!!!
VERY true about what Tilde said...you can have $$$ worth of equipment and still get lousy pictures and have a simple $100 P&S and shoot a masterpiece...it's the photographer that makes 90% of good pictures. And...P&S are great for capturing the memorable "candid" shots. Don't get me wrong...I'm not...knocking Pros with mega-bucks invested...just saying that even simple amateurs and cameras can capture wonderful moments too...
