I have Onone's Perfect Suite 8 and 9.5 and downloaded this latest version on the 60 day trial. I love the software 8 and 9 versions, not so much the 10...seems to freeze up and shut down on me, while the 8 and 9 do not. Other than that, it's an awesome photo editing software and works well with Lightroom.

I have ON1 10 and use it on almost all my photos. What I am asking about is the new service the Matt K and ON1 are offering called ON1 Plus.

I looked at the offer and didn't really see enough benefit to give those folks more money. The original tutorials that came with On1 Photo 10 are pretty comprehensive and taught me just about all I need to know. What we're left is watching someone edit photos in ways that I would probably never do for myself. And if I did, there are other avenues to learn the skills, many of them free.

The turn off for me was the $149 a year membership...No thanks!

I have On1Photo10 and although I have only had it a short time, I have started using it on a regular basis.
I was turned off by their recent sales tactics. In a link from an email I got from them it shows Plus for $29, regular $149. In fact the $29 version is stripped down time wise and does not include the next product upgrade that the more expensive version includes. I pointed this out to them and they responded with basically what I just said. The are trying to get you in the door before you get the facts.
I still like the program. And I do get periodic emails with sample videos of what Plus will be like.

I know you restated what you are looking for comments on. I have to agree with this post. I just had On1 10 up a few seconds ago playing with the free SnowFlake Preset they just sent out. Very slow. I have 16 gig and plenty of HD space and not much else running. I run a 150 gig VMware image that moves faster than this.
