The 'mailman' is in fact a traffic warden who has just ticketed the sleigh. They shouldn't be confused

Humorous in this context but we have had them ticketing ambulances and fire engines when dealing with emergency calls. They are not known for their sense of humour but are probably deemed necessary allowing for some of the idiots who get behind the wheel of a car.
