Old age and arthritis have finally caught up with me and I am no longer able to hold the 610 without shaking. I cannot tell you how sad I am about posting this; aspired to get 610 and absolutely enthralled with full frame. Body has less the 3,500 shots on it and come with box etc. Asking $1050. Also have 28-105 3,5-5.6 D Macro lens that works well. Lens is clean and in very good condition with hood and end caps.
Asking $175. The 610/24mp push this lens to its limits but if you can not afford 24-120 this is a good second choice.
I own a D610 which is an excellent FX body. I also own and use with the D610 the 28-105 AF-D lens but I cannot understand what do you mean by "pushing to the limits." I believe both make a great combo and I have many photographs to prove it and I never felt limited when using the 28-105, FX or DX.
With your kind permission I am posting a picture I made while visiting San Juan, Puerto Rico, this past October.
Perhaps it could help you to sell the lens.
Camerapapi The 28-105 was a kit lens on my D700. Camera resolution has improved greatly since then. Have found it to be soft on the edges but easily fixed by cropping. I think the new lenses with nano coating etc are better; however I use this lens 90% on the 610.
If it works for you, as it dose for me, be happy and shoot away. laf
Is this still for sale.....I'm very interested in buying
The D610 is available. I am LARRY FOSTER.105 Nolton Rd, Nordland Wa 98358, 360-379-8480. email nordlandfosters@gmail.com. Please call with questions re D610 and sale details.
If things work out you are getting a hell ova a camera. I am retired/fixed income and will never afford the glass that this body so deserves. Thanks lad
Can you email me pictures on the camera and lens?
I have a D610 (after a driving desire to get into FX). I have also spent the last 12 years dealing with Parkinson’s.
While the net is replete with info on the camera, there is not so many info on PD!
I have recently given up on tripods, I am delighted with an “ifootage monopod”. It has served be well in all my attempts at shoting fine photos.
Look it up! It works well for me with Parkinson’s! In fact even if I didn’t, I’d go for this ifootage Cobra 2 A180.
I wish you well!
First thing first, I do not know what PD is. I know DP review as a good source of info reviewing cameras and lenses. Did you mean DP review?
I am glad a monopod is your answer and I sincerely hope you will continue to do well with it. I am lucky, I have no Parkinson and I use my tripods often.
The D610 is a very good camera and it produces excellent images. The 28-105 has been a very good little zoom and I have not seen any limitations when used with a D610. My lenses from the 60's, 70's and 80's work very well with the D610 also.
Thank you for your email. I wish you well too.
