Anyone out there doing High School Senior Portraits? If you are what is your method of marketing for Seniors. Looking into getting to that market, any information pertaining to this topic would be great. Direct Marketing , Ambassador program, or other means? I would love to know, thanks Studiosam09

Hi studiosam09: I don't know about using this technique for photography, but I spent many years in men's formalware and what we did was find one or two students, usually a leader in the school (as often as not the school would reccommend some one to us as the candidate) and for every 10 or so students the brought od sent in they would get their rental free. We ofcoures were targeting only the guys, but I don't see why this wouldn't work equally as well for the girls.... Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the info, it sounds much like the Ambassador program, where you find a popular kid in school, and offer a discount on the photography or pay them like $10.00 for each student that books?
Our area is very touchy about obtaining the names from high school seniors, due to privacy issues? I have to go to New York to buy the names, makes no sense to me , but that is the way it is.
