I'm sorry, but something about this photograph looks artificial, I'm not quite sure what, too much post processing, or something else? It just doesn't look real.

I agree. While a nice photograph it has obviously been subjected to a considerable amount of PP.

A distinctive look...I like it!
Some folks don't like the hard HDR look but I think it has it's place, just like all the color manipulation we see, or selective focus, or a million other effects. I think this scene is a little busy for the HDR look. Would be better if you could have isolated the train more. No, don't stand on the tracks in front. lol djt
Definitely a process that some enjoy and some don't :)
I agree that it might be a bit heavy handed because of all the small details that don't add to the interest (for me).
But more than that, I'd like to see the water line straightened and the left edge trimmed of the out of focus tree.

If you leveled the water the trees might ve vertical also.
I used to catch the train from San Diego to L.A. in Santa Ana to go to work, then they discontinued passenger service. Looks like its back.
Good shot, Alicia, but it almost looks like a toy train on display.

Took this post card shot from the pier. I like yours a lot better. I know mine can use some loving PP care
