Jacaranda's are in full bloom at the moment and looking beautiful. This one had a little surprise in store which can be seen in the crop

Thank you Tom. I am fortunate enough to have a Jacaranda tree growing on our lawn - the flowers are almost touching our balcony, so apart from the wind - photographing them wasn't an issue. Taken at a very high speed on 500 ISO.

That is a bumble bee. They seem to like the 'fix' that the flowers provide and bury themselves inside the actual flower.
