I had to give this another try- this time I was able to keep my hand out of the shots!
I used my GE X-600 again to shoot videos in 120 f.p.s., then in Windows Movie Maker I went through the videos frame by frame and got these screen shots...

Have you tried to capture it with just tripping the shutter? I realize it would take perfect timing, but you could put the camera on burst mode and..... just maybe....!
At any rate, nice work. You have piqued my interest! We're having heavy rain for the next week or so.... so that might be a good garage project!

This was only the second time I've done this- both times I was doing the high speed video, maybe I might try the way you suggested the next time, though!
