When we got to the canyon the sky was real smoky . When looking at my photos I though they were a wash. Going back and playing with a simple pp program. Some of them don't look so bad,
Whatever you did, the light looks exquisitely beautiful and natural. There is also great depth and perspective in this one. Super image.

Are you willing to educate us? I'd like to see your starting image and to learn what you did to get to your final image?
By the way, your final image is gorgeous.
Well, pp certainly worked, didn't it? Good job.

I did the same thing. I took my Grand Canyon pictures about 6 years ago and all had haze. I didn't use Lightroom back then. Now reworked them and what a difference with this software.

I was just telling someone how I'm amazed at what the different editors can do and the level or detail they can bring out! S-

Thanks Jim-Pops a little post processing can make a big difference.
Just about as perfect an image as one could expect. I like the realistic contrast with the dark/deep shadows on the left. My guess is, that's probably just how it looked. You could always bring out the detail, but I believe it looks more realistic with those deep shadows. Great work on this one.
