For those of us who are a little older, we need cheaters to see what we have just shot, or see our camera settings. I got tired of taking my cheaters on and off to do this. Besides photography, I do a lot of fly fishing. I need magnifiers to tie my flies. Finally put my fishing cap on when picture taking and now will not go out in the field without it. These attach to your cap and you simple fold them down when you need to. No more glasses on and off. You can find them at any decent fly shop or most likely on-line. I can't do without them. They come in various strengths.
Just thought I would share.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea....if you're a cap wearer, LOL.
I'm not much into caps, so have to resort to putting the cheaters on top of my head, and putting them off and on as needed. ~sigh~ Isn't it wonderful getting older?!?

Getting older ain't for sissies, Wendy! I've been wearing glasses, now with 3 focal lengths, since I was 11. I just smile when you fortunate ones finally have to use "chatterers." I was the fastest convert to Auto Focus, ever. It took 1 hour with my Nikon FM2 and Canon EOS 10S side by side to convert. The keeper ratio confirmed the results.

Yep, put these on and you can see thru everything, so actually, you can't see a thing. Just like before I put them on. So what's the point.

The greatest idea here is not only the glasses but where and what they are intended for. I have found through my 65+ years that there are a whole lot of people who have not participated in hunting and fishing. As a result they do not think out of the box when they need something, like these flip ups. We need to remember that the best solution for a photographic solution may not be at your local photo shop but maybe at your local outdoor shop.
Just my $.02, Greg

Try wearing a cap again. Once on you'll forget your wearing it - takes about five minutes! There are other advantages to the cap - keeps the sun off your head - keeps the sun out of your eyes - keeps your head warmer when the wind blows. :-)
Clever! I carry my glasses around my neck when I'm shooting so I can put them on quickly to make adjustments.

And can be rotated around so it shades the viewfinder and reduces glare.
If you prefer not to wear something that will not make you the unwanted center of attraction, these will look a whole lot better and may be used in situations where wearing a hat is not an option
