Why is this lens so expensive?

The title says it all. Is Schiender Xenon THAT much better?

14 aperture blades, 300 degree manual focus ring rotation, image color matched. Its a big, heavy professional lens. What do you think its worth?

Better than what? Neither you nor I would have a use for that lens but I do have a Nikon lens that cost more. (Brag. Brag.)

Compare that to the 6-lens Leica Summicron-C T2.0 Lens Set for $90,000. :shock: :D

Yes. Important in video so when you switch from one lens to a different focal length the white balance will be an exact match!

Pretty good lens like the German BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and Audi as well as Bugatti and Lamborghini, owned by the Volkswagen Group are "pretty good" cars. :roll: :XD:

You'll also pay $5000 for a Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 ZF.2. If you want the best you have to pay for it.
