Boy Marilyn, that is one nice looking buck. Too bad he's a bit camera shy. I always love seeing your "Family" pictures. ;-) Hope your home wasn't as windy as mine was last night. Cheers.

Hes sure is a honey.
I have a feeling he and another big boy got into it last week and the other ended up, Gored. Hes not been around for a few days- i sure hope hes healing.
Oh boy, i heard about the High winds you had- i bet your still picking up stuff and will be for another week. Tonight the snow comes in again, aren't we lucky!
NOT!!!

When I was hunting with a 30-06 I would have loved to bag that 10 pointer. Now I hunt with a camera and a long lens.

Grannie and one of her Daughters settled in the yard last night , I looked a tad further and a suitor was just outside the fence planning his attack.
I guess i must of changed his mind or he simply does not like the camera clicking away taking his photo.
Either the case- here are some shots that i managed to snap.

He certainly was a handsome fellow. Hope he don't wind up on a wall
some where. The shots are wonderful as always, thanks for sharing and
I am glad Grannie is still hanging around. How many years have you been
getting pictures of her? Dennis

I have been here 11 years Dennis and my guess would be that grannie is approx 8-10 years old.
She's looking really well this year compared to the past few years. But then again too, there really isn't much snow coverage as of yet so shes still able to get down to the grass and weeds.

The buck is a handsome fella and hes been around a while too. Just so, they stay out of the patch of woods - I think they will remain safe.
