Why Back-Button Focusing?

Every thing you say here could be done a lot easier with BB focus . Pick a fstop aim camera at any thing you want push back button let go . Now you can shoot all day with out re- focusing at that area . Some thing going on
Ten feet away from that spot . Hit back button on that spot . "BAM" now your
Focused for that spot . You don't have to worry about depth unless you want
X amount of feet in focus . Or just use a small f stop for it all . I can focus on a horse race , the lead horse and the one trailing 30 feet behind with the lens
Wide open as fast as I can move my camera to the second horse it's in focus .
every one who has tried this way of shooting and stuck with it , just loves it .

Here's a couple of action shots i did over the weekend using the BB focus button. Lock in the subject and follow until it stops.
