OK Just this once I will forgive ya.Looks like maybe DOF was too shallow? Mothers beak and ducklings head immediately below is in focus the rest is bit soft for my liking.

They are a wonderfully cute family, all warm and fuzzy (literally).Enough is sharp where it is supposed to be. You got more of them in composition than I'd ever have, you must have gifts in persuasion of ducks that I don't have.
Just wondering if that bright yellowish area that runs underneath mom's body might look better toned down a touch.
And of course we have to do "cute". You did "cute" well.

Yup you are right about the bright area under the belly. I toned it down on my screen so that it was not particularly noticeable but on UHH it seems to have become more prominent. As for talking to ducks I must confess my usual conversation involves crispy skin, hoy sin sauce and thin pancakes which probably doesn't quite fit into the cute pic genre. My thanks for your comments.

BTW a touch deeper DOF would have been nice but its always too late when you realise the settings you should have used.
